The Real B. S. of the F. C.

Balanced Solutions(Bernie Sanders) of the Fiscal Crypt(or FulCrum):

Anyone who believes that we have a spending problem not a revenue problem is unqualified to make decisions that will help the economy.  That is my summary, not that he* might not agree.
Spending as a percent of GDP is the lowest in 60 years and the tax rates are the lowest in living memory.**

** Bernie Sanders (12-7-12) Need to update.
**I forget how many years that is.

[Meanwhile the real c. c.  Boehner blames the President for congresses own fiscal cliff march. Bush Tax cuts had expiration date.  The Republican congress refused to extend middle class tax cuts, and led country to credit downgrade and budget sequester deal over raising debt limit.  The President said he would not play those games.  The House is not likely to pass a deal that will pass the Senate and Presidential veto.]

Joke of the Year!

"In turn, Republicans say Obama is acting like a stubborn partisan who will put the economy in peril in order to get his way."*

THAT WAS THE PUNCHLINE, HERE IS THE SETUP.

"Seeking to cement those impressions, the White House is casting Republicans as willing to forgo tax cuts for the middle class in order to protect lower rates for wealthier Americans. Rates for all income earners will go up at the end of the year if both sides can't reach a deal."

Read more: Ibid.

OR WAS IT A STRAIGHT LINE to the people and UPPER CUT from the Republicans?

"Obama has made that case to Republicans before only to back down in the final stages of negotiations. But this time around, the president and his team believe they hold the political leverage**."

Read more: Ibid.

*NOTE: These Seatlle PI quotes included no hyperlinks, those are my sorts.
** It is only funny if you enjoy political hypocrisy, cynicism, screaming and pulling your hair out.  The political leverage and political capital is completely on the President's side.
(Ctrl F: political capital) ALSO Re:"time" will expire.

That was lede or ship, or a spoiler alert of a headline.
But I am going to stick my neck out or guess the point of what George Lakoff* may be meaning by Why It's Hard to Replace the 'Fiscal Cliff' Metaphor.

But first I will be facitious** or tongue in cheek, which with the opposition such as it Roves and the Techs- Ass Governor as a frame of reference it may be closer to the reality.

A. They are elephants.
B. It is trickle down.
C. It is politics.
D. All of the above.
